27 & 28 Weeks

Sorry for all of the double posts lately. I got pretty behind with all the traveling but after this post I will finally be caught up!

How far along? 27 weeks
Weight gain/loss: about 19lbs
Maternity clothes? Yep
Stretch marks? No new ones
Sleep: Pretty good, although all of the sudden I have to use 2 pillows under my head otherwise its really uncomfortable, like the baby and my uterus are squishing my ribs and my lungs
Best moment this week: Getting home to Max and Andrew after my trip! Being in Montana was awesome, but being away from them for 2 weeks was hard!
Miss anything? Being able to lie on my back
Movement? All the time, finally felt hiccups! I didn't realize it at first. I told my mom it was weird, like my belly was spasming and she asked if it was really rhythmic and if so it was probably hiccups. Sure enough! Although right after I figured this out he quit having them, but at least I'll know next time
Food cravings: Just sweets and fruit, I ate a whole bunch of bananas in 2 days this week :)
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope
Gender? Boy
Labor signs? Nope
Symptoms: The same old standbys: rib, pelvic and hip pain along with headaches
Belly button in or out? In
Wedding ring on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy!
Looking forward to: Starting my third trimester!

How far along? 28 weeks
Weight gain/loss: up 20lbs as of my 28 week appointment (yikes! it's crazy to be gaining this much weight and not be worried about it)
Maternity clothes? Yep
Stretch marks? Still going strong, none on my belly
Sleep: Pretty decent although I still wish I could sleep on my back!
Best moment this week: Seeing that everything was excellent and healthy at my 28 week appointment. I'm sooo excited to meet our little boy!
Miss anything? Just laying on my back
Movement? Yep yep
Food cravings: Sweets and fruit
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Gender? Boy....still working on a name but I think we're getting closer! We've agreed on either Andrew or Daniel (my grandpa's name) for a middle name, depending on which goes better with the first name we choose
Labor signs? Nope
Symptoms: Same old stuff. The rib pain is pretty constant these days. I spend alot of time sitting up super straight or with my arms across my ribs pushing down
Belly button in or out? In....for now
Wedding ring on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time? Happy, although the mood swings can get intense at times. Alot of crying over small things happening in these parts
Looking forward to: Maternity photos and our 3D ultrasound on July 11th!
